Hon. Akande Kickstarts Distribution of Scholarship Forms for 100 Indigent Students in Ibadan South West Local Government


In a significant move to support education and empower vulnerable students, Honourable Kehinde Akande has commenced the distribution of scholarship forms for indigent students in Ibadan South West Local Government. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students, bridging the gap between economic hardship and academic aspirations.
The scholarship program, spearheaded by Honourable Akande, targets students from low-income families, orphans, and vulnerable children in Ibadan South West Local Government. The program's objectives include:

1. Providing financial support to indigent students
2. Promoting academic excellence
3. Encouraging educational enrollment and retention
4. Empowering students to pursue their dreams

The distribution of scholarship forms commenced on Tuesday, 8th October across Ibadan South West Local Government. Interested students or parents can obtain the forms and submit their applications before Monday slated for screening exercise.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:

1. Be residents of Ibadan South West Local Government
2. Be currently enrolled in a public or private school
3. Demonstrate financial need
4. Maintain good academic standing

Selection Process
A committee will review applications, conducting interviews with shortlisted candidates. Selection will be based on:
