Barely 5days to the conduct of the Oyo state local government election billed for April,27 2024, Ibadan North East chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Hon Ibrahim Akintayo on  Monday ended his ward to ward campaign rallies with a charge on the people to give all their votes to all the PDP candidates during the Saturday’s election
The campaign train of Hon Akintayo which had in attendance ,Hon Abiodun Samuel Ogunjobi(Tesoju E),Hon Funmilayo Arulogun, Hon Abiodun Babalola, Hon Gbenga Adewusi, Ibadan North East PDP chairman and other leaders and party faithful witnessed a mammoth crowd.
Speaking at the grand finale of the campaign, The Asiwaju of Oje land, Hon Abiodun Samuel Ogunjobi Called all the party members to go out on Saturday to Vote for Hon Ibrahim Akintayo (O Mu Yes) and all PDP Councillorship Candidates, he said no differences, no cleaves in our party.
The Chairmanship Candidate, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo in his own  speech, he promised to surpass his achievements in his first tenure and called on the people ignore the antics of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), and vote the PDP for more better dividends of democracy.
While thanking all the party leaders for their unflinching supports, Akintayo noted that “Ibadan  North East  is a full blooded PDP local government. We have nothing to do with APC with all their failed promises. I encourage you all to give your support to the PDP where your futures are guaranteed. We have done it before,  we are promised to do more.
