Akande's Education Initiative: 100 Indigent Students Benefit from UTME Forms Distribution in IBSWLG


Honorable Kehinde Akande, Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, has taken a significant step in promoting education and empowering indigent students. In a recent initiative, Akande distributed 100 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to deserving students from low-income families in the local government area.
This gesture is part of Akande's efforts to bridge the education gap and provide opportunities for disadvantaged students to pursue their academic dreams. The UTME forms were distributed to students who demonstrated financial need and academic potential, ensuring that the support reaches those who need it most.

Akande's education initiative has been hailed as a groundbreaking program aimed at transforming the futures of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. By providing access to UTME forms, Akande is helping to level the playing field and create a more inclusive education system.

This is not the first time Honourable Akande has demonstrated his commitment to education. Previously, he has launched scholarship programs and provided financial assistance to students in need. He was able to sponsor students for excursion programme and summer coaching classes.

The vice chairman of the council, Honourable Tajudeen Adigun also joined the local government chairman during the distribution of the forms to the beneficiaries.

The distribution of UTME forms is a testament to Akande's dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders. As he continues to work towards creating a more equitable education system, his efforts are sure to have a lasting impact on the lives of countless students in Ibadan South West Local Government.
