Ibadan, 27th June, 2024  The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has commiserated with Deputy National Chairman, South of the Party, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalah Eniola  Oladejo Arapaja who died at the ripe age of 91 on Wednesday.  The party also prayed for the repose of the soul of mama while praying that almighty Allah makes Al-janah Firdaus her abode.  In a statement released by the acting publicity secretary of the Party, Mr  Michael Ogunsina, the party said they are identifying with the Arapaja family at this crucial time of the death of his matriarch. The Omituntun Youth Movement, Ibadan North East chapter, paid a congratulatory visit to the Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, and his team on Tuesday, 11th June 2024. The delegation, led by the Coordinator of the movement, Oyejide Busayo, also visited the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mary Esomior, all the Councilors led by Hon. Abd Mojeed Igbalajobi, and the Aree of Spare Part Dealers, Alhaji Abdwaheed Gbolagade (Pele). The visit was to congratulate the council chairman, Vice Chairman and his team on their recent  Inaugurations and to express the movement's support for their administration. I had the privilege of attending State Committee on Food and Nutrition Quarterly Meeting on 29th May 2024 at DamJay Hotel and Resort, Ibadan!  During the meeting I was introduced as the Chairman for the newly constituted House Committee on Nutrition.  Highlights of the meeting include legislative support for budget approval and updates on ANRiN’s achievements so far.  I made a promise to work with ministry of health in ensuring that nutrition matters are the frontburner. I took my time to listen carefully to all the presentation and discourse. Together, we will improve state of nutrition in Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
