Easter is the most significant event in the Christian calendar as it marks the suffering, crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, a hallmark of Christianity: Hon Olusola Adewale Owolabi.

To commemorate the 2024 Easter festival, I,  Honourable Olusola Adewale Owolabi on behalf of Ibadan North East Constituency 2 and my family, write to convey a warm felicitation to you, dear brothers and sisters in Christianity.

The message of Easter, which highlights the supreme price Christ paid on the cross of Calvary should constantly remind everyone of the need to show genuine love  by being humble, respectful, honest and law abiding at all times without loosing sight of the ministry of almsgiving.

Therefore, I use this rare privilege to urge the christian community to reminisce on the solemn rituals which culminated in Easter celebration and also popularise the gospel of the risen Christ by helping to build a more peaceful and progressive state where the weak will receive help as shown by Christ's sacrificial death on the cross for the salvation of mankind.
Furthermore, I wish to remind the adherents the need to always  commit in fervent prayers, people in the position of authority especially the compassionate Governor of our dear state, Oyo, His Excellency  Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde who has been a source of unlimited joy to both citizens and visitors alike.

In all let's build more intimacy with Christ Jesus whose victory over the death and ultimate ascension into heaven inspired the festive ambience.

Thank you and a very happy Easter to all of us.

E-Signed:
Hon Olusola Adewale Owolabi
OYHA Ibadan Northeast Constituency 2.
