Economic hardship:Ibadan Northwest local Government legislators appeal to Governor Makinde on an increment of adhoc staff stipend from #17000 to #35000



Concerning the economic hardship in the country,The Legislative house of ibadan Northwest local Government under the leadership of Hon Muili Kazeem Kolawole Arowodana has appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde of oyo State,most especially the issues of Adhoc Staff.

At the plenary sitting on Thursday,Feb 15,2024, The motion was raised by Hon Adeleke Sikiru of ward 04,Concerning the adhoc staff working in ibadan Northwest local Government and Okebada Local Community development area. 
Mr Oyediran Abdusalam speaking on behalf of the Adhoc Staff to the floor of the house,stated the issues as controversial incremente allowance and permanent appointment,also,long serving collegues who are not sure of future sojourn in the services. 

The leadership of the Legislative arm of the ibadan Northwest local Government who also the Chairman, Councilors forum,Oyo State chapter,Hon.Muili kazeem kolawole Arowodana called for the quick intervention of the stakeholders in administration of the state Government on the regularization of the adhoc staff across the state with all criteria as stated in the oyo stats  civil seevice.

The legislative arms of ibadan Northwest local Government resolved at the plenary sitting today that the oyo State Government under the leadership of our pragmatic Governor, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde to please look into this matter of the adhoc staff.

The house recommended an increment of from # 17,000 to #35,000.

Also, The Legislative arm also recommend to the state Government to atleast absorb probably 80% of the adhoc staff for a permanent appointment. 

While thanking the state Government,The Chairman,oyo State Councilors forum also urge the oyo State house of Assembly to please take this matter to the house once again and make it a reality .
