The lawmaker representing Ibadan Northeast Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Abiodun Babalola has called for the quick processing of certificates and transcripts of graduates of tertiary institutions in Oyo State. The motion, sponsored by Hon Babalola who is the House committee Chairman on Transportation, was presented on Wednesday at plenary, also called for the activation of online applications and delivery to any locations. The astute lawmaker noted that the process of approving and preparing statements of results, certificates and transcripts take too long in tertiary institutions in Oyo State and therefore called for proactive actions from the management of various higher institutions of learning in the State. Ikmat Taiyelolu Adeleke, the beautiful daughter of Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke has graduated from the prestigious University of Ilorin with flying colors. Ikmat's testimony is that of courage, strength, persistence and endurance and I am glad to join all her close associates and friends in celebrating this milestone. It is also noteworthy that the discipline, Godly virtues and high moral standards that the graduand's dad instilled in her made her a success. Yesterday, Hon. Dr. Ibraheem Oladeji Salami  chairman/sole administrator PTS led the entire staff and working committee of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services to sensitize the good people Oyo State on the usage of Pacesetter (Omituntun) cards. It's one of the developmental innovations brought in by the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr. Dr. Seyi Makinde  FNSE  Two weeks ago, the transport services of the Omituntun buses became digitalized as commuters had to make payments with their cards to board the bus. However, the data has it that over 25,000 commuters in the state now own the card, and this proudly attests to the acceptability of the digitalization of the Omituntun buses in the state.
